If you have large or bulky items that are no longer needed, first consider if your items, such as sofas and tables, could be reused by others. By donating to one of the many non-profits in Solano County, not only will you be helping divert items from the landfill – you will also be helping a great organization.

If donating your items is not possible, the Residential Cleanup Program is a service provided to Vacaville and unincorporated Solano County residents to assist in the disposal of large and bulky items that don’t fit in curbside waste bins. Customers may request one free landfill pass and one curbside bulky item pickup each calendar year at no additional cost.

Schedule a pickup at least one day before you regular collection day and then place your items at the curb next to your gray cart. Write the letters “RCP” on a piece of paper and attached it to one of you items. To schedule a pickup or request a free dump pass, please call Recology Vacaville Solano at (707) 448-2945
