RECYCLING

RESIDENTIAL RECYCLING PROGRAM

In order to keep our communities safe and clean, we all must pitch in to help reduce, reuse, and recycle as much as possible. Recology Vacaville Solano provides a convenient curbside recycling collection program to residential customers.

Recycling collection is provided to customers that reside within the city limits of Vacaville and in the Solano county area surrounding Vacaville. *Leisure Town residents may not have all services available. Customers are provided with one 96 gallon blue recycling cart.

More than a half-dozen CRV and drop-off recycling centers are available to residents and businesses in the City of Vacaville. CRV recycling centers can reimburse you for the deposit you pay on many beverage containers in the State of California. (Eligible cans, for example, are labeled "CA CASH REFUND.")

When bringing your cans and/or bottles in for CRV redemption you will be paid at a minimum per pound rate. If you have 50 or less cans or bottles and they are all of the same material type, you can request a per unit rate to receive the same CRV redemption value that you paid upon purchase of the container.
